Woolomin

Woolomin sits in a beautiful area to explore, with two camping areas of its own.

Woolomin is on the Tamworth-Nundle Road. It has two camping areas.

For town camping, turn at the shop to find the Reserve. Camping is free in the large grassy area, unless you want power. To pay for power, visit the friendly people at the shop who will take $6 per night in return for access to the power box. If you need water, once again, those relaxed folk at the shop will help you out.

There is a large undercover camping area and a toilet block at the Reserve.

Six kilometres south on the Tamworth-Nundle Road is the Chaffey Dam, where the Bowling Alley Point Rec Reserve has a huge amount of camping available from around the dam.

A small fee is payable to camp here and a lovely warm shower costs $1 in a good quality amenities block.

Woolomin is the kind of place one can have a lovely relaxing time. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run and explore.
