Mirrool

The Mirrool Royal Hotel and the campgrounds across the road are a great place to rest, eat and play.

Mirrool has a camping area opposite the hotel, rich with convenience. On the Newell Highway between Narrandera and West Wyalong, this dog friendly camp spot is very nice to know about. It can be difficult to find somewhere to rest, sleep and eat with the dogs.

The undercover area on the edge of the camping area has a barbeque and a fridge! This cooking area is fenced off and is a dog free zone.

The modern brick building is a clean and well-maintained toilet facility.

The campground has a good amount of room for the dogs to run around, which is great considering all this is just off the highway.

The Mirrool Royal Hotel offers well priced food and a free shower, or $4 per shower if you don’t eat there. The dogs are most welcome at the hotel, making this a real winner for me. I consider this pretty good value considering it is situated on a main highway.
